How to register
With two selling plans (they’re called Individual and Professional) mthingz offers you the flexibility to sell one item or sell thousands. Before you begin registration, decide which plan is a better fit for your business. Please note, you
should select Individual Selling Plan only if you want to offer products for sale outside of any commercial or professional activity.

The Individual plan costs  $0.75 (per item sold), while sellers using the Professional plan pay $15 per month, no matter how ma n y items they sell. If you sell more than 40 items a month, the Professional option makes a lot of sense.
The Individual plan might be right if:
•You plan to sell fewer than 40 items a month
•You want to keep up-front costs low
•You don’t need advanced selling tools or add-on programs
•You’re still deciding what to sell

How much does it cost to sell on mthingz?
There are a few different types of selling fees you might
pay, depending on your selling plan and the types of products
you sell.
• Subscription fees: These are the fees you pay for your selling plan, and they vary depending on which plan you select.
• On the Professional selling plan there’s a flat fee of  per month and no per-item fee.
• On the Individual selling plan there’s a $0.95 fee for each item sold. Before you start selling
• Selling fees: These fees are charged per item sold, and they include referral fees (which are a percentage of the selling price and vary depending on the product’s category), and variable closing fees (which apply only to media categories).

In order to complete your registration, make sure you have access to your bank account number and bank routing number, a chargeable credit card, government issued national ID, tax information, and phone number.

Get to know Seller Central What is Seller Central?

 

Once you register as an mthingz seller, you’ll have access to your Seller Central account. Think of Seller Central as your go-to resource for selling on mthingz.

It’s a portal to your mthingz business and a one-stop shop for managing your selling account, adding product information, making inventory updates, managing payments, and finding helpful content to help you navigate your mthingz business. It’s also where you list all your products.

Below are a just few of the things you can do from Seller Central.

How to list products

Listing your first product To sell a product on Mthingz, you must first create a product listing. Either match an existing listing (if somebody else is already selling the same product on mthingz), or create a new listing (if you are the first or only seller).

The specific way sellers upload and list their products varies depending on their selling plan. To put it simply: Sellers using a Professional seller account have the option of listing their products in large batches using bulk uploading or inventory management with third-party systems, while Individual sellers list products one at a time.

What you need to start listing products In most cases, products must have a Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), such as a UPC, an ISBN, or an mthingz uses these product IDs to identify the exact item you’re selling. If you match a listing, you won’t need to provide a product ID since it already exists. If you’re adding a product that’s new to mthingz you may need to purchase a UPC code or request an exemption. (Application Review Process

We look for associates who are a value-add for mthingz customers – if you’re a passionate reviewer, stylist, content creator or curator who would like to refer your audience to products on Mthingz you may be the right fit.

After you sign up, our Associates team will check your application once you’ve driven qualified sales (we require at least three within the first 180 days). Please note that personal orders do not qualify. In our review, we check all of the Sites you’ve provided (websites, mobile apps, social network pages, and Alexa skills) to ensure that they meet our customer experience bar. All Sites must have robust original content (even when advertising is removed) – a good rule of thumb is at least 10 posts. They must be publicly available (for example, they should not be a closed group, or behind a paywall). Unsuitable Sites cannot participate under any circumstance.

This is what we’re looking for in for each of these categories. Please review these carefully before your submission and during your review period, as we will reject applications if they do not meet these standards. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to reassess an application once it’s been rejected. Please also remember to keep your Site list updated so that we are reviewing the right traffic sources.

Websites

Content on your website must be recent (generally within the last 60 days). You must own your website.

Mobile Apps

Your app must comply with our Mobile Application Policy requirements.

Social Networks

We currently only accept the following social networks: Facebook (including open group pages and fan pages, but excluding personal pages), Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tik Tok and Twitch.tv. Your application must clearly list your social media page’s exact URL (do not list the social network URL only: e.g. ‘facebook.com’, ‘instagram.com’.)

Your social network page or group must be established, with a substantive number of organic followers/likes (in most cases, at least 00). It must also be publicly available (for example, no closed or hidden group pages) and you may not apply with a social media page where either your posts or the number of followers/subscribers are hidden from non-followers.

 

Why was my application rejected for unoriginal content or lack of content?

When reviewing a website we look for a beneficial reason as to why a customer would seek out your site. We want an associate site to be one that adds value to the customer by giving them insight on a subject or product they might not get easily. A website needs to show original content that exemplifies these components when we evaluate your application.

Successful sites will give the customer a unique experience or insight that is not available anywhere else. Well written information on a certain subject will help build you an audience which will also give the customer a reason to visit your site, not only once, but in the future.

My application was rejected for a trademark violation. How do I correct it?

Your site must not include unapproved usage of Mthingz trademarked materials. This includes words, images, Mthingz customer reviews, or other trademarked materials that may misrepresent your relationship with Mthingz

To be reconsidered for entry into the program, please ensure that your site complies with our Trademark Guidelines before reapplying.

Refund Policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
